Woodburn Homestead
410 Angas Plains Rd, Langhorne Creek SA 5255
Exclusively yours, Woodburn Homestead is your blank canvas to handcraft an epic celebration of love for your wedding day. Built by Matthew Rankine in 1864, the homestead has been given a new lease on life by the Westphalen family and is now a multi-award-winning destination wedding venue. Surrounded by intimate garden corners and boasting an iconic open-air chapel, intimate Melrose’s Garden, corrugated iron ‘The Stables’ lounge and bar, and lush lawned spaces for your reception, this venue truly ‘has it all’ for your wedding day. There are endless photograph opportunities on-site, including old stone cottages, the 160-year-old Moreton Bay Fig Tree, 42 acres of rolling paddocks, hay bales, a windmill and resident cacti on the driveway. You’ll love the unique accommodation offered by the beautiful Homestead, quaint Workers’ Cottages, and the Coach House (a private bridal suite). The Angas Lawns are suitable for amazing marquees, and there is a stunning open fireplace for the colder months. In-house catering and bar services are supplied by the multi–award winning business Cindy’s Classic Gourmet, a South Australian Tourism accredited business, South Australia’s and Australia’s voted No. 1 wedding caterer by the Australian Bridal Industry Academy. Woodburn is truly a must-see destination wedding venue.
