The South Lakes Golf Club was one of a kind when it first opened in 1966. South Lakes was the first golf club to integrate a holiday and residential community with a golf course. From humble beginnings, the club has since grown to have the largest membership base of golf clubs in regional South Australia. The club provides the utmost hospitality to all its patrons, giving them spectacular views, a well-maintained golf course and the most value for their money while enjoying our unmatched hospitality.
Designed with the local demographic in mind, the course leans toward a ‘Links’ style layout with gentle slopes and well maintained rough areas.
Complemented with a well-appointed clubhouse boasting bar, Birdie Bistro and gaming, the club is also well served by legend professional Roger Stephens, who has competed around the world on tour, including such prestigious events as the British Open, and is rated one of the best teaching professionals in this state and indeed nationally.
