Drive, ride or sail to Sails Café at Clayton Bay for warm hospitality and a menu specialising in local seafood and local Langhorne Creek wines. Enjoy indoor dining in our light and spacious café and relaxed outdoor dining from our deck with lovely views of the Murray River and stunning sunsets!

Our kitchen is open for breakfast and lunch 6 days in summer from 10-2pm and for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights from 5-7.30pm, including takeaway.

Under new management for the past year, our café is family and dog friendly and situated opposite the playground, walking trail and a few minutes walk from the Clayton Bay Riverside Holiday Park or one of the many nearby B&B’s.

With a new chef at the helm, there are delicious specials every week as well as the popular Steak Night on Saturday Nights. People tell us our Fish and Chips, Salt and Pepper Squid and Schnitzels are the best – you be the judge!

A favourite destination for car and motorbike clubs, we welcome group bookings, including the Oscar W Lunch Cruises, and can organise set menus to suit your needs. Talk to us about your event and book our beautiful café for your next function.

Just over an hour from Adelaide, and less than 30 mins from Strathalbyn, Goolwa and Langhorne Creek. Whether you are discovering Sails Café at Clayton Bay for the first time or a regular visitor you can be sure of a great experience and you will be supporting local regional dining and tourism.
