KI Wines by Geoff Hardy

K1 Wines is home to the first commercial vineyards in the Kuitpo region. A family-owned winery, established in 1986, when owner and viticulturalist Geoff Hardy discovered the perfect site for producing cool climate wines in the Adelaide Hills.

The beautifully situated K1 cellar door overlooks the lake and vineyard and has been recognised as one of Australia’s Top 10 Cellar Door Experiences by leading wine industry publication, Wine Business Magazine. The centrepiece of this lakeside cellar door is a hand-crafted tasting bench made by Geoff from a 400-year-old red gum from his Limestone Coast vineyard. During a visit to K1 guests can indulge in a wine tasting flight and cheese platter, or opt for wines by the bottle or glass instead while soaking in the beautiful views.
