Avril Thomas is a portrait artist with paintings and drawings in private and corporate collections round Australia, Hong Kong and USA.

She has been a member of Royal South Australian Society of Arts, Portrait Artists Australia and Portrait Artists of America. She has participated in many National portrait competitions. Her work hung in National galleries including Federal Parliament House in Canberra, National Portrait Gallery in Canberra, Flinders University and Monash University.
